Enchanted Evenings replaced the Garden of Delights from 2006 to 2007, MIA started to programme a range of different special events, bringing some of the most exciting international companies to Manchester for a sequence of evening performances.
In 2006, MIA focused on 4 different projects:
1) Theater Titanick – ‘Insect’, 2 sell-out nights with a large scale spectacular outdoor family event at night in Castlefield Arena, Manchester City Centre.
2) Feast! Picnic by the Lake – an evening and an afternoon in Platt Fields Park, Manchester, where the focus was on the audience bringing their picnics, candles, tablecloths, flowers etc and we provided some entertainment.
3) Circus Ronaldo – ‘La Cucina del Arte’, sell-out performances of theatrical circus in big top in Platt Fields Park
4) Carabosse – ‘Installation de Feu’, 3 evenings in a glorious fire garden installation in Platt Fields Park
